About Us
In the year 1988 during a meeting of Jain Community of East Delhi on the occasion of Bhagwan Mahavir Jayanti it was decided to do some charity work to provide health care facility to poor & common men. Immediately a Committee was framed under the Presidentship of Late Sh. Shyam Lal Ji Jain. Initially Committee decided to start a free Health Check-up Camp for a period of two months. Dr. S.K. Jain and Dr. Harshvardhan (now Minister in Union cabinet) alongwith other Doctors & Consultants extended their services. Over whelming response from public to this camp. Which was appreciated from all corners of thus it was further decided to continue this movement in future also & consequently this camp was converted in the shape of dispensary.
This movement was supported wholeheartedly from all walks of life. Looking to the utility of this dispensary, this was shifted to Jain Dharamshala, Street No.. 11, Raghubarpura II, and ultimately after that in Street. No. 10 in the house of Shri Bhushan Ji Jain of Lavika Hosiery in a bigger space area, who is a important member of our society.
In the year 1992 on the eve of Bhagwan Mahavir Jayanti celebration, a decision was taken to construct Jain Charitable Hospital and as a result, a building of hospital was constructed on a plot of 200 sqr. yds. at 2949, Street No. 5, Raghubarpura No. 2, Gandhi Nagar, Delhi-110031 & inaugurated on 13th February 1994 under the blessing of Acharya Shri Sushil Muni Ji, Tapacharya Shri Mohan Mala Ji Maharaj, Ma. Kaushal Ji and Chullak Shri Kulbhushan Ji by Shri Dharamchand Jain, Moti Wale.
Due to increased number of Patients, this hospital feel smaller, therefore three adjoining premises No. 2948, 2947 & 2946 were purchased and new spacious building with parking facility was constructed. The new wing of the hospital was inaugurated by Shri Arvind Singh Lovely, the then Hon'ble Education Minister, Delhi Government on 6th October 2006. Facility of parking, lift was also added which was not in previous building.
OBJECTIVE
Charity in medical sector by providing 24hrs health services to the public of this area on no profit basis the main object of this hospital is to serve the people including the poor & downtrodden by providing best possible medical facility at very reasonable rates.
This hospital runs General OPD Medicine & Doctor fees Rs.300/- which include medicine of one day besides examination by Qualified Doctor. Other than medicine Rs.240/-
Private OPD the fee is Rs.200/- only of the Consultants who are specialist viz. MD/MS/DNBin their field.
The rates of Surgeries, Normal/LSCS deliveries, Lab, X-RAY, Ultrasound, Ecco Dialysis, Physiotherapy, Plaster application and other Surgeries & Procedures are very cheaper and reasonable in comparison of other hospitals.

RECOGNITIONS
A.29 bedded multi specialists 24X7 hospital is registered with the Directorate of Health Services, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Premises operate and fulfills fire safety norms as per Guidelines of fire department including fire safety.
B. Authorized with Delhi Pollution Control Committee,Govt. of NCT of Delhi for operating a facility for of Collection, Transfer / disposal of Bio - Medical Waste.
C. Duly registered under PNDT Act, 1994 & MTP Act, 1971 by the Appropriate Authority of East Delhi, Govt. of NCT of Delhi to conduct ultrasound.
D.Exemption of income tax under section of 80(G) of act
ACCOMMODATION
1. There are 10 Private & 5 Semi Private sharing AC rooms & other AC sharing rooms, Economy & AC General ward.
2. Two nurses station are available on 1st & 2nd floor connected with a bell to every bed. Besides, big Reception Complex is on ground floor which works round the clock.
3. One major operation, one minor O.T. one Nursery, one Dressing room, One Labour Room, 3 bedded Day Care facilities and 2 bedded Casualty equipped with multi Para meter monitor, pulse - oximitor & computerized ECG and other latest equipments like C-R facilities.
4. There are 10 Private /General /OPD rooms and other semi private & also 9 general ward
5. At present 2 Nursing hostels are available to accommodate at least 25 nurses, apart from this, other facilities are also provided in these hostels to the nurses.
6. Hospital has good telephone connectivity six telephone lines with high speed internet and fax.
